Try blending with other Minor's sauces, concentrates, or other ingredientsTo make an instant fully seasoned stock or broth, add Minor's Beef Base to water and stir3/4 tsp base + 1 cup water1 Tbsp base + 1 quart water1 lb base ( 1 container) + 5 gallons waterBEEFY FRENCH ONION SOUP (serves 13)INGREDIENTS:32 oz onion, sliced thin or small diced64 oz hot water2 oz unsalted butter3 sprigs fresh thyme2 whole garlic cloves5 pieces of toasted, thin sliced French bread13 oz mild Gruyere cheese, shredded2.5 oz Minor's Beef BaseDIRECTIONS:In a heavy bottom pan, melt butter. Add onions, thyme and garlic. Sauté, stirring frequently, until they turn a rich brown color, approximately 25 minutes. Once onions are brown, remove thyme stems and whole garlic cloves.Add water and Beef Base to onions. Heat to boiling; stirring frequently. Reduce heat and gently simmer for 5 minutes. Seasoning to taste.For service: Portion 6-1/2 oz. soup into heavy bowl. Place 2 slices of toasted french bread on top of soup (to float like a raft), and then place 2 oz of cheese on top of bread.
