Item Description
KAP-IT allows anyone to raise a sprinkler head from the top instead of from the bottom. By extending the stem of a standard riser, you have raised the height. The new snap on top protects the stem extension, while leaving all of manufacturer's original parts completely intact. KAP-IT keeps the rocks and debris normally introduced into the head when a sprinkler is unscrewed below ground. The snap on top is designed to still allow regular access to the inside of the head itself, by maintaining the ability to unscrew the top of the canister with the KAP-IT, even when more than one is stacked. I initially got some of these from landscaper friend, glad I can get them here now. My yard is 15 years old and I have a ton of pop-ups that needed raised. I raised a few by digging them up but by the time I dug them up, raised/replaced them and got them adjusted it was taking forever and was more expensive. Not to mention the dirt I got in my lines and then had to clean out the sprinklers. I tried a couple of these using a shovel initially and told my friend I needed more so he got them. He also told me there was a tool that helped (Kut-it). He was right! Using these and Kut-it I can raise one of my sprinklers in about 5-10 min start to finish and no dirt in the lines. So far I have replaced 25 and plan on replacing another 20 this spring. Hopefully that will get me through for another 15 years. One other thing, I had one sprinkle that was super deep, stacked 2 of these babies up on each other and voila worked like a charm. Glad I found these and the tool saved me ton of time and money

The Kap-It is easy to use, it's fits most heads out there. You disturb very little soil around the sprinkler head. It snaps on top of the pop up and allows the Sprinkler to be raised with ease. Use the Kut-it tool to dig up and around the sprinkler head. Kap-it with its ease and simple process of putting it on top of the sprinkler allows you to do it fast and easy to go on to something else.
